I shot Tuty at House #307 yesterday…

..now what where we doing at house #307?
I ran a portrait competition at a local internet forum, of which I picked (IMHO) the best 5 work submitted by the forummers. We headed to a location out of Kuala Lumpur and conduct the workshop there, at house # 307. The house is kinda abandoned heheh…
I passed thru the house a few times, only recently I am inspired to do a photoshoot there when I passed it on a rainy day, it was so gloomy that I am inspired… (okay, it sounded a wee bit weird *grins*)

..a gloomy looking kinda abandoned house, some weeks back..

..the winners of a free workshop competition on location at the gloomy kinda abandoned house, yesterday..
Notice the day light out of the house? A very gloomy abandoned house no? We started off with lighting basics. We talked about available light photography, we discussed the qualities of light, soft vs hard, directional vs omni directional light, WB setting for creative effect AND how to control light to create mood, using natural available light and artificial light.
We have fun in the process as well.
Would you like to know about my next workshop?
Drop me an email @ tedadnan[at]gmail[dot]com if you want to know more.
