At the workshop,we learned the difference between light quality, how ‘big light source versus small light source’ affect the quality of light. For example, a light from a softbox is much softer from light that is from a direct source of light (note pic-cher below lah) even at the same power output. If got time try lah Google it up. Google is a friend (besides Photoshop™) oso you know…

We oso learned how to create silhoutte and play play with colour gel.

some set-up shot here, try to dechiper ler if you can, if you dont undrstand, e-mail lah @ tedadnan@gmail.com (macham lah tak biaser ye tak?)

Later, we play-play ler a wee bit…

before ‘posing’ for the group photo

If you want lah, download the 2000 pixel long image here and here lah
A disclaimer: This is actually on the 2nd day for the original group of participants. I meant to upload it earlier but werk get in the way lah (you know how it is, tetiba ajer werk all piling up). I rounded up *laffs* some shooters for the job and briefing them on the job scope and allocting task and so on and so forth. I myself shoots very little (umm about 8~9 GB of jpegs files from the camera. Sounded ridiculous no? In total there’s abut 40 GB if jpeg images from the shooters all. After each days program I get to sit downs with the team and reviewed their work of the day so they won’t make the same mistake the next day. Talking baout on the job training hahahah. Anyway, now I gotta spend sleepless nites culling their work into various folders according to the program (mostly) and individual shooters folders and tag them (for my archives) and will present to the Client about 400 pieces of 4R prints as agreed upn in the Quote. I should’ve quote for sleepless nites oso but I don’t think that gonna work. Heck, the (old) Accounts person in me will also balked at the extra charges if I am charging me the sleepless nite thing. No, I don’t understand what I type oso so I think it’s best I stop right now. Hanny once remark that I’m no longer a photographer I’m a manager now.
Dang.
thanks ted for the knowledge during workshop!
