At the Photocamp II, yesterday…

Written by Tedadnan on October 29th, 2008

After conducting my part of the PhotoCamp seminar yesterday, we all went out and practice what we’ve been learning lah. Here’s the only picture that I’ve made (since I’ve already pre-visualize the look that I wanted lah. No need to shoot a lot of shots if you planned your things already no?) while going the rounds checking on what the participants were doing…

Model: The Kacuk dewd

Make-up & wardrobe: Model’s own

Location: Hulu Langat, Selangor. A mere 14 miles out of Kuala Lumpur.

Some info for you technical gearhead out there

Shutter speed: 1/200th of a second

Aperture: Probably f/5 as I wanna blur the background

Gear used: Nikon D3

Lens: 50mm f1.8 lens ajer

Speedlight/strobe: None, God blessed us all with a lot of sunlight yesterday, Alhamdullilah.

Post: Some post work on the Mac™ (Photoshop is your friend :D )

P.S. With a simple set up, you, yes YOU, can also produce a similar backlit while retaining shadow details images oso.
