Helping out my friend Saiful Nang (he of the famous wedding photographer from Candidsyndrome which incidentally ‘the ONLY OFFICIAL Private Photographer Team for The Royal Wedding of Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bulqiah binti Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, D.K.M.B., P.H.B.S dengan Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil bin Pengiran Syed Haji Jaafari and the ONLY Official Photographer Team for “Merdeka Raksasa” in conjunction of the celebration of 50th Anniversary of Malaysia Independance’. And why am I mentioning all this quite a mouthful bit? Well, I just give credit where credit is due lah *grins*) here a wee bit:

..no, that’s NOT him! That’s a portrait that Saiful Nang made recently while he was in Borneo (now that I mentioned Borneo, I might as well mentioned a wee bit here that I gonna be in Borneo for the Rainforest Music Fest this July, 2008. (I was there last year, and if you ‘dontch no’ that already, I was there in 2005 too, you can read it here at my old Fotopage(!) entry). Specifically, the weekends of 11th~13th July 2008 I *might* be teaching a workshop there oso, but that’s another shameless hardsell advertisement masquereding as a blog posting lah. I’m awaiting Bro Zamrin of Kelab Foto Kenyalang to sort out some thingies on his end first.)

So what’s this PhotoCamp™ 2008 thing is all about?

Head over here lah for details. (It’s a 3 days and 2 nights course held on a weekday, just to warn you in advance lah, and limited to 30 persons. Last I read (yea, it is advertised in another forum, and the ad was only up around sometime Noon today, and as of now 4 44pm *saaayyy, you’re not supersitious, no? I just typed the Number 4, 3 times*) the list is already 15 persons long and about 5 already paid the deposit. Hurry hurry up folks!)

Now where do I fit in all this lah? Well, I’ll be teaching a lighting module in the PhotoCamp™ 2008. On the Final Day of the PhotoCamp™ 2008, there’s a crit session where your final work will be evaluate by a team of professional photographers such as Saiful Nang himself, *ahem* Ted Adnan, Syamsyarin (google him up, and oh, he’s a friend of mine) and Jay Ismail (google him up, and like Saifulnang and Syamsharin, he oso a friend of mine too! ).

As much as you wish, I won’t do a Simon Cowell thingies tho. (Now, isn’t that a thot……. *grins*)
