For the first time ever, Ted Adnan’s Location Portraiture Lighting Technique Workshop is now in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!

This hands-on workshop is designed to give a understanding of lighting at outdoor locations. At the end of the workshop, you will learn the necessary lighting fundamentals for you to succeed as a location portraiture photographer with skills that’s applicable even for fashion, events or wedding assignments. In addition to learning how to use and modify existing light, you’ll learn about using fill lights utilising on camera flash and/or light reflectors.

You get to learn from a working professional photographers with 10++ years experience who is willing to share his lighting tips and tricks shooting advertising and corporate assignments for a diverse range of clientele.

The details of the workshop are as follows:

Sunday: 28th February 2010
– Ted Adnan’s Location Portraiture Lighting Technique Workshop
Venue: Meeting point @ Spylens Studio, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Exact location will be revealed to confirmed participants
Time: 8am ~ 5pm

No restrictions on camera make, all are welcome as long as it is a DSLR. Do bring your external flash along if you have any.

Fees:RM550.00/USD170.00 per participant
Early bird offer: for fees payment before 5th January 2010, the fees is RM490.00 only per participant
Payment using Government L.O. is at RM1,050.00 per participant.

Workshop overview:

-Understanding camera metering mode
-Lens selection for effective portrait presentation
-available light technique
-fill flash / mix lighting technique
-how to use flash to create a dramatic effect
-practical session with a model

Who should attend?
Beginner’s to advanced amateur who wishes to take their photography up to the next level

I shall need 7 participants to start, however I shall cap the participants number to a maximum of 15 person only per workshop.

College/university college student who presents a valid student ID card, will also entitled to a RM100.00 rebate. Limited to maximum 3 students only.

Take note:
There will be no refund of your fees if you pull out for whatever reason. So get someone to replace you lah if you can’t make it.

You can book your slot with a RM200.00 non refundable deposit, balance must be settle before February 15th 2010. Early bird offers is not valid if you choose this payment options.
