Dear Ted Adnan,
Since you are the self-proclaimed Kiamsiap™ Lighting Dude (with Bad Grammar) in your territory – Kajang.
I, LoctorMayat, self-proclaim Kiamsiap™ Jamban Lighting Urutoraman (with signature ‘Woahahaha..’ laughter) from Penang, hereby CHALLENGE you to a friendly competition.
Here are the details:
We are going to construct a large diffusion panel which is a replica of the Lastolite Skylight Diffuser/Reflector panel as shown in the photo below:
The criteria is:
1) Size : 6×3 foot diffuser/reflector
2) Highly mobile for on location shoot
3) Takes no more than 5 minutes to set up
You are allowed to use any materials you seem fit BUT:
1) All raw material purchases must be supported by a photo of the receipt.
2) You can’t get any old parts that you currently have. Meaning, everything must be bought NEW
Date and Result:
1) We will post the photos of our Kiamsiap™ 3×6 diffusion panels including the construction and final setup (both in mobile form and setup form)
2) We will post the photos taken USING the Kiamsiap™ 3×6 diffusion panels including the final output AND a photo of ‘behind the scenes’ where the panel is being used.
3) Date to complete project and post the photos is NOV 15 (Sunday) no later than 10pm

My answer:
You’re on, Herr Loctor dewd, be prepared to go dooowwwnnnnn in defeat and wallows in generations of shame you kiamsap you whoah hahahahah (you can insert Doctor Evil’s evil laff like in the Austin Powers movies here if you so prefer) !!!
Even better, at the risk of revealing my strategy here, I gonna make sure that even tho it’s DIY thing, I will construct it such a way that I wontch be ‘ashamed’ of using it in an actual shoot with Art Directors, Clients, Principals, MUA, talents (and their respective boyfriends/girlfriends/husband and such) and passing by makciks presents.
After all, any savings on my cost I can always pass it on the my clientelle oso, hence I can always charge you a lower fees in these ‘tough’ economic climate, no?
