World Refugee Day 2012

20th June is World Refugee Day.

Every day, 98,000 refugees and asylum-seekers in Malaysia struggle to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity. They had no choice but to flee their countries due to armed conflict and human rights abuse, they are unable to return home safely. Every day, against all odds, refugees work hard to help each other learn new skills, access healthcare and livelihoods.

Do one thing to help refugees as they strive to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity. Visit the World Refugee Day exhibition at Bangsar Village 1 from 20 June – 1 July 2012 to learn what YOU can do to help them help themselves.
