From time to time I get to meet wonderful people during the course of my photo assignments ( like that makcik which sells keropok lekor at a small town call Losong who generously let us photograph her making the said keropok from starting to roll it all the way to fried it in a big hot smoky wok while tending to her Customers and at the same time entertained us about lil vignettes of her life. I promised to come back with a set of prints but when I did visit the area again the next year the stall was empty, the great wok has a layer of dust and judging by the hearth it no fire has been lit in months. I went away feeling a wee bit depressed but thats another story laarrr…. ). Most often the people that I met imparts a little bit of their experience to my own and left an indelible impact on my life no matter how small it might appears to be. Like that wizened old songkok maker in Penang or that Orang Asli living in the backwaters of a peat swamp forest in Pahang or the many Myanmar communities of refugee that I get to know during the past few years.
Sometime I get to met people who are gifted in their choosen field and quite a few are just regular people who jus thappens to love what their doing.
A few of these individuals I get to know during my photography talks and workshops and they become friends. One such individual is Ms Anom Keon . Of late she has been sponsoring outfits for the talents for my lighting workshop …

…something elegant…
