…meanwhile, at Starbucks AEON Jusco AU2 Setiawangsa yesterday… (a.k.a. A meeting with my Editor for “Panduan Mudah Penataan Cahaya Studio oleh Ted Adnan” lighting guidebook…)

…while going thru my 1st draft the Editor dewd asked lah (amongst others) how lah to promo this book…

Lunch, comprising of pure black coffee (RM6.90) and 6-incher honey thingies bread with pepperoni bits and veggie inside (RM10.50), I pay for my coffee, the Editor dewd paid for the lunch. Thanks Editor dewd! Next Nescafe™ Tarik Besar® Kurang Manis on me ya? I insist!

To quote Chase Jarvis verbatim from his blog,

“1. Take lots of photos.
2. Get on twitter.
3. Start a blog.
4. Assist for another photographer.
5. Buy a better camera.
6. Create a “style” that’s all your own.
7. Hire an intern.
8. Get an agent.
9. Do behind-the-scenes videos.
10. Get a studio.
11. Franchise your business.
12. Live off your stock library.
13. Sell your prints.
14. Get some gear sponsors.
15. Teach workshops.
16. Do a book.”

..I go for the last bit lah, and sell the book in my workshops and/or seminars *winks*

There’s a few slot still available for my 11th June 2011 “Ted Adnan’s I Light It My Way” Kuala Lumpur workshop. This will probably my last hands-on, day long workshop in Kuala Lumpur for this year. If you can’t make it this time, don’t despair, I will conduct a mini half day lighting seminar dubbed “Mini Half Day Lighting Seminar With Ted Adnan” on the 2nd July 2011. That’s a Saturday. With a mere RM58.00 per person, you get to see IN PERSON a LIVE lighting demo performed by “Ted Adnan”, a working, published, professional photographer who uses the same gears as you do *winks*

Once I confirmed the venue, I will put up the proper poster lah. Tell your friends, after all, RM58.00 is not RM5,800 no?
